Just a throwback to almost a year ago. I took this Just a throwback to almost a year ago. I took this photo but never shared it.

Doc was so engrossed in his book, he never once lifted his gaze to see what I was doing.

Friends, I’m taking a sabbatical from social media.

I won’t be answering messages here or posting.

If you’d like to keep in touch please consider joining my email list.

“It is the beginning of a mighty conflict, in which it costs much to win the victory.”- J.C. Ryle

🌿I’ve been reading 1Timothy 6 this week and thinking about the battles in life I’ve fought or been tempted to fight.

🌿Some have been worthwhile, drawing me closer to Christ. Others borne of the diseased human nature of my flesh.

🌿There is much to be forsaken while walking with Christ and yet all of it pales in comparison to what is gained.

🌿Keep fighting the good fight.

🎙I can’t edit the words that come out of my m 🎙I can’t edit the words that come out of my mouth...

🎙Writing is my comfort zone means of communication because well, I can go back and edit the words.

🎙But speaking as an ambassador of Christ is something I do with joy but great reverence as well....simply because I truly want Jesus to be represented well even when I feel like I’m tripping over my tongue.

🎙In this recent interview you’ll hear the condensed version of what a “normal” day looks like for me, what I bookend my days with, & how we incorporate worship and feasting on God’s Word into our family rhythms.

🎙You can find the link to the podcast in my bio or comment below and I’ll be happy to send it to you via DM.

🎙So much I left unsaid, and already have plans to write a few blog posts, but until then what questions do you have about family discipleship, time in the Word for moms or large family life?
Current mood.... 📚Baby girl’s facial express Current mood....

📚Baby girl’s facial expression perfectly conveys how I feel about not being able to find not 1 but 3 books that I ordered back in August of 2020 to read to my children during Black History Month of this year.

📚I’m praying the Lord will help me remember where I put those books as I can’t stomach the thought of buying them again.

📚Have you ever put something in a “place you’ll remember”, only to NOT remember the place you put them?
