My Story

Hello and welcome to my little corner of the internet! Come on in and make yourself right at home.

I’m Tiffany & although I’m a native of the CaribbeanShould  you won’t hear a Caribbean accent when I speak.   My dad joined the Army when I was a little girl, so I spent most of my my childhood in the U.S. and Europe.

I’m married to Kendrix; passionate disciple of Jesus and my best friend. He leads our family so well with his example of commitment to the Lord and being a daily doer of the word.

Together we share the joys and challenges of raising and home-educating seven sons and three daughters! We’ve been a homeschool family since 2006, and three of our children are not only homeschool grads, but they have each gone on to thrive in their collegiate education.

Can I tell you something that might surprise you?

I never desired to be a mother. I know that might be shocking, especially since I have 10 children.

But, it’s true.

As a matter of fact, at the know-it-all age of 16, I told my sister that if she wanted our mother to have grandchildren she could be the one to bear that burden!

I intended to lead a very simple & selfish life that focused on three people: me, myself and I.

Then I met Jesus. And He began to change me from the inside out, which meant my desires changed too.

Can we talk about how THANKFUL I am that the Lord did not give me what I thought I wanted!?

Because without being a mother, I would have missed out on so much.

So much laughter, life and last but not least character development and learning how to do so many things one-handed!

For over a decade, I’ve had the honor of serving the homeschool community by offering encouragement, hope, & practical tips on everything from choosing a curriculum to organization & how to create a peaceful home environment.

My work has been featured on various blogs, podcasts, a magazine a video project with Homeschool Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and a television interview.

I’m an ardent fan of:

  • checklists
  • writing in my Bible
  • herbal coffee
  • read- alouds
  • being re-educated as I homeschool my children.

I can’t tell you how many personal “ah-ha” moments I’ve had learning right alongside my children.

And speaking of homeschooling…If you’re tired of running laps on Google and reading through all the responses to your questions on social media….you need a homeschool coach.  I create personalized homeschool solutions to help with getting started, curriculum choices or preparing for high school; be sure to check out the services I offer through my homeschool coaching business Your  Homeschool Helper.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by my internet living room.

I hope you feel welcomed enough to come back soon!
